1.6" Nanotyrannous tooth, tyrannosaurus Rex tooth fossil, Hell creek formation

This fossil was collected by our team on private leased land in South Dakota. 

The tooth has absolutely no restoration or crack filling of any kind. 

Measurements: 1.6” long x 0.67" at the base x 0.35” thick.

Nanotyrannus (meaning "dwarf tyrant") is a genus of tyrannosaurid dinosaur. They may be juveniles of Tyrannosaurus Rex or a similar genus.
